PM visits Air Headquarters Islamabad and lauds PAF’s contributions in war against terror

Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Air Headquarters Islamabad
Prime Minister Imran Khan appreciated the contributions of Pakistan Air Force in war against terrorism, nation-building activities, and projecting positive image of Pakistan, said Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor on Monday.

According to DG ISPR Ghafoor, the prime minister visited Air Headquarters Islamabad, where he was presented a guard of honour. The PM was welcomed by Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.

During his visit, the prime minister laid floral wreath at the martyrs’ monument and lauded PAF's role in ensuring aerial defence of the country, especially the one displayed during February this year, said the DG ISPR.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Advisor to PM Imran Khan on Finance and Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal Khan and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan accompanied the Prime Minister.
