Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday telephoned Belgian counterpart Didier Reynders wherin grave situation of Kashmir was discussed.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi briefed his Belgian counterpart imposition of curfew in occupied Kashmir and human rights violations in the valley.
The Belgium Foreign Minister expressed concerns on the prevailing situation in Kashmir and urged the respective parties to solve the issue bilaterally.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the unilateral action of India is against the international laws while he feared a new human tragedy could arise in the Indian held Kashmir.
He highlighted the severe hardships faced by the people of the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir in the face of the unprecedented lockdown of the entire population.
