A tree fell on their dream home, and that was just the beginning of their nightmare

Brian Carlson-Graves and his partner Daniela Malandruccolo thought they were buying their dream lakefront home in Port Perry, Ont. But after a tree fell on their house, they quickly learned two-thirds of it was built without permits in the first place.
